Our Botanical Journey

Hi, I'm Dianne, a boutique grower of botanicals for skincare and crafting in Nelson, New Zealand. My journey into growing my own botanicals began as a luffa farmer as I needed exceptional quality herbs and flowers for my skincare products that sat alongside the loofahs and sadly what was available in New Zealand at that time was very underwhelming - old, dull looking petals from who knows where, sprayed with who knows what. 

There was such need in the market at the time that my husband also came on board so we could expand to also offer a range of beautiful botanicals to other skincare and crafting creators. As the business grew and other growers began to increase their production we were able to offer a much wider range of products - mostly grown in New Zealand with a small amount of imported. Over the years we have been contacted by some big name companies (local and international) but as a small producer that focuses on quality and not quantity we were often not able to grow product to the scale they needed - although always disappointing I had to remember we were never in it to do it at scale. Growing and hand harvesting the botanicals yourself ensures the quality stays high and really makes the end product shine. I built a whole skincare business around botanicals being the hero.
